Congregational Meeting

November 11, 2007
 

The meeting was called to order at 12:15 p.m. by Ken Mueller, President.  There were 55 voting members in attendance which constituted a quorum.  Pastor Beese opened the meeting with prayer.

The minutes of the February 11, 2007 Congregation Meeting were available for review.  A motion was made by Gene Halvorson and seconded by Fred Tetley to accept the minutes as published.  Motion carried.

The following members were nominated to serve on the church council beginning January 1, 2008:

Jennifer Bolton, Virgil Norris, Don Wilken and Diane Ziehl for three-year terms and Barry Olson to fill the one-year unexpired term of Fred Tetley.

A call was made for nominations from the floor. There being no nominations from the floor, a motion was made by Jim Chapman and seconded by Charles Niemann to approve the nominees as presented.  Motion carried.

The Proposed Budget for 2008 was available for review.  A motion was made by Eileen Moeller and seconded by Audrey Halvorson to approve the budget as submitted.  Motion carried.

A motion was made by Pat Poretta and seconded by Linda Kimberling that the meeting adjourn.  Motion carried.  The meeting adjourned at 12:42 p.m. with the Lord’s Prayer.
