Proceeds from the sale will be used to purchase much needed lawn mowing equipment. A sprinkler system for the front of the church was discussed. On option would be to use volunteer labor to do the lay out. Pastor Beese arranged for tree trimming at the parsonage at his expense. A motion was made by Joe Poretta and seconded by Charles Niemann that Pastor Beese be reimbursed $200 toward the $800+ total cost of the tree trimming at the parsonage. Motion carried.

Youth Ministry – The Youth Committee will meet tomorrow to discuss participation in the All-Church Picnic. The Katy Trail Bike Ride went very well with six adults and nine youth participating. Gail Kruse and Leann Brumm were strong finishers. Pastor Beese and Ken Mueller displayed great biking skills and were able to complete the six-mile trek. Gail Kruse suffered a “bruised ego” when she came too close to the bike trail’s edge. The youth would like to make the trip an annual event.
